It’s finally almost summer in the Wasatch Back and one of the best parts about living in Utah are the summer activities and events. The HomeTech team picked a few of our favorite events for June and July. From the last day of school, to July 4th to Pioneer Day, we’ve got you covered.
June Summer Events
Monster Drawing Rally
June 11, 3:00 – 6:00pm Park City
This year’s Monster Draw will take place June 11 from 3-6pm. The event will be held outdoors at Kimball Art Center, 1251 Kearns BLVD, and includes live music, food, and a cash bar. Over the course of the afternoon, artists will create artwork LIVE for 50 minutes — artwork being created will include graphite drawings, pen and ink drawings, charcoal, paintings, digital art, collage, and more. Finished pieces are immediately available for purchase when the 50-minute timer runs out.
June 20 – 26 | Park City
The Latino Arts Festival is a cultural experience and a beautiful display of visual arts and crafts, live music, film screenings, performances, and food across multiple venues throughout Park City. El Festival de Arte Latino es una experiencia cultural y una hermosa exhibición de artes visuals, artesanías, música en vivo, proyección de películas, y mucho más en varios lugares de Park City.
Twilight Drive In
June 18 | Utah Olympic Park | Kimball Junction, Park City
Park City Film is partnering with Utah Olympic Park and Dragonfli Media to present the Twilight Drive-In at the Utah Olympic Park, a drive-in movie series to bring the community together for fun, socially-distant evenings celebrating film. Join us for a fun night out watching films under the stars!
Heber Market on Main
Thursdays 5 – 9 pm | Jun 2 – Aug 18Main Street Park | Heber City
The best summer event in Heber! Main Street Park in Heber City hosts terrific local musicians in an open air concert every Thursday evening through fall with food booths, food trucks, crafts, and fresh produce from 5 – 9 pm. This year, Heber Valley Brewing will offer a beer garden for patrons 21+!
Savor the Summit
June 25 | 6 – 10 pm
Main Street | Park City
This is not your average dinner party! Park City’s Savor the Summit returns to historic Main Street for the largest dinner party in the state. On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., a variety of restaurants will be serving their specialities to over 2,500 participants, al fresco, as the sun sets behind Main Street. Park City’s best restaurants will showcase their culinary talents in an open air community celebration.
Oakley Celebrations and 87th Annual Rodeo

Oakley Rodeo Grounds
The Annual Oakley Rodeo is a four-day summer event that is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and is considered to be one of the “must-do” events of the summer. Get your tickets early, as this event ALWAYS sells out.

Midway July 4th Celebrations
July 4 | All Day | Midway Town Square
Celebrate Independence Day with our small town July 4th celebration sponsored by Midway Boosters and Midway City. This family-friendly day of festivities begins early and goes well into the evening, culminating with a stunning fireworks display at night.

Park Silly Sunday Market

The Silly Market is a wildly popular, eco-friendly open air market, street festival, and community forum, where neighbors and friends come together to celebrate the community of fun and funky Park Sillians. Patrons love the live music accompanied by beverages from the Bloody Mary bar!
