It’s becoming a tradition for the HomeTech Team to share some our favorite Wasatch Back Holiday Activities. Get out to Park City, Heber or Midway and enjoy some of the best the area has to offer this December.
Skiing/Snowboarding at the Local Resorts: Both Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley and Woodward Park City are open for the season. Take a few turns and get some fresh air while we wait for some mid-December or pre-Christmas storms. It’s best to purchase your tickets ahead of time online to ensure you have a spot and can get on the slopes as soon as possible. Reservations are usually a good idea for any dining too, especially at Park City Mountain and Deer Valley.
Snow Tubing:
Skiing or snowboarding not your thing? Get your thrills on a tube heading downhill at lightning fast speeds! Tubing at Woodward Park City, located just outside of Park City (Pinebrook or Summit Park exits off I-80) is offered for ages 4+ and is booked in 2 hour increments. Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway offers the longest tubing lanes in Utah. The hill has lengthy 1,200-foot sliding lanes with lift service for towing people up the hill for tubing day or night under the lights, and a sound system keeps the airwaves full of enjoyable tunes. Tubing is also ages 4+.
Park City Snow Globe Stroll:
The Historic Park City Snow Globe Stroll features nine interactive life-sized Snow Globes designed to represent everything there is to love about Park City. Each globe will highlight a Christmas carol. The Snow Globes will be placed throughout Park City’s Historic Main Street. The 2022 Snow Globe Stroll begins Nov. 25, 2022. The Snow Globes will remain on the street through Jan. 9, 2023.
